If you ask onlookers which is the most beautiful beach in the department, most will tell you about the Veillon site. Be patient, swimming is not for the moment.

We suggest you start the day with a hike in the heart of Veillon.
Duration: 1h45
Distance: 6.02 km
Difficulty: Easy

Leave from the Veillon car park and head towards the beach, following the dunes. The Pointe du Payré rises up in front of you.
After skirting the Rivière du Payré, you will enter the woods.
Following the path, you will arrive at La Guittière. This small village is lined with oyster-farming huts and is the ideal place to enjoy freshly-picked oysters and seafood with a glass of white wine. The rest of the walk takes you along a tarmac road that leads to the château.
On arriving at the avenue la plage, simply follow the path back to the car park.
An invigorating walk that will allow you to learn more about this exceptional site.

Have you worked up an appetite at the oyster farm?

It's time to find a nice little spot for lunch.
We recommend that you head into the heart of the pine forest.
At a time when the sun is in full swing, you'll enjoy the cool shade of these tall trees.
Put down your towel and enjoy your picnic.
This simple, ordinary pleasure can be shared without moderation with friends and family.

After the effort, there's nothing like the comfort of a good swim

After a comforting siesta under the pines, it's time to put your towel down on the warm sand of the Veillon beach.
The unoccupied beach of the morning has given way to a maze of holidaymakers.
You'll enjoy swimming in this translucent water, which has been awarded the «Pavillon Bleu» label.
At Le Veillon, swimming is safe and supervised.
At the bend of a sandbank, you can find a few natural pools formed by the tides.

The afternoons at the beach offer so many possibilities... but for everyone, they are moments synonymous with relaxation and well-being.

A day's holiday just the way we like it, taking the time to take the time.
Walk the trails, opening your eyes wide to take in the treasures of nature.
The sun has turned, it's time to head back to the campsite.
To end the day in style, how about preparing a nice barbecue?
Get together with the other campers for a convivial moment.
Sit back on the terrace of your mobile home and enjoy the long summer evenings.
